Internship

The world's premier space travel company is seeking motivated college students with a passion for spaceflight. Space Adventures is rapidly expanding the frontier of space travel, events, and entertainment. Our out-of-this-world adventures include zero-gravity flights, high-altitude, supersonic jet flights, spaceflight training, and actual flights into space.

  • DESCRIPTION: Incredible products, interesting people, and a company rapidly expanding into the final frontier. This exciting internship position involves assisting our sales, marketing and office staff with daily tasks and sales and marketing projects. The intern must maintain strong research skills and obtain knowledge of and exude confidence and excitement in Space Adventures' business and programs. The intern will support development of new leads through researching prospects, assisting with material and sales tool development; helping with the execution of sales and marketing campaigns; and other general daily office tasks and sales support. Job performance emphasis will be on professionalism, work ethic, creativity, and working well inside the sales team.

  • REQUIREMENTS FOR THE INTERNSHIP POSITION:

    • Current college student (undergrad or grad).
    • Live in the Northern Virginia / DC area.
    • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
    • Very proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Internet savvy.

    Previous internships, degree programs in the aerospace, tourism, or business fields, graphic design / material development experience (Adobe Pagemaker, Paint Shop Pro, etc.), and excellent writing skills are big pluses. Experience in tracking and reporting of sales databases, the desire and ability to participate personally in the products sold, including spaceflight, high-altitude supersonic jet flight, zero-gravity flight, and other space training experiences is also highly desired.
