Space Adventures' president and CEO, Eric Anderson, is changing the face of space exploration. Mr. Anderson shared his vision about private space exploration with members of the Metro North Chamber of Commerce. He conveyed that he believes that space exploration is vital to human progress. Mr. Anderson co-founded Space Adventures in 1997 along with a group of former astronauts, aerospace visionaries, and adventures travel experts. He shares in the belief that space exploration is vital to human progress. Under his guidance, Space Adventures brokered the flights for the world's first private explorers' American businessman Dennis Tito in 2001, and the first African in space, Mark Shuttleworth, in 2002.
