"The Australian adventurer isn't a lonely fanatic with lots of loose change. He's one of nearly 800 enthusiasts who have trekked aloft with Space Adventures, the world's only travel agency for the truly outward - and upward - bound. The firm's first ""big"" clients were the original ISS ""space tourists"", Dennis Tito and Mark Shuttleworth. According to Christine Gee - Asia-Pacific business development manager for Space Adventures - interest is hot right now, thanks to the Cassini Mission to Saturn and this week's successful flight of SpaceShipOne, the world's first manned commercial spacecraft. ""Whenever there's a big news story about space we get a surge of inquiries,"" said Ms Gee, adding that website hits recently soared 25 to 30 per cent.
