Centrifuge Program
Program Highlights
  • Simulated Soyuz launch/landing g-profiles to the International Space Station
  • Tour Star City, the training complex for the first human in space, Yuri Gagarin.
  • 1 Nights Stay at one of Moscow’s most exclusive hotels.
  • DVD with photo and video coverage taken by one of Russia’s premier aerospace photographers.

Experience the immense force of gravity as you simulate reentry into Earth’s atmosphere.

Used for simulating both high-g and physiological weightlessness for cosmonauts, astronauts, and military pilots, the world’s largest centrifuge at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center was built to generate up to 10 times the force of gravity for manned training and up to an amazing 30 times for unmanned experimentation.

The overall mission of this program is to give you an understanding of the forces you will experience during a Soyuz rocket launch until you reach the orbit of the International Space Station. At the end of the simulation, you would know exactly how it feels to launch into space and fly into orbit.
